From the Sea to the Sky
SEA STORIES, CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT CAMBRIDGE CONTEMPORARY ART
These paintings were inspired by a trip to the Outer Hebrides last summer. The Isle of Harris is unlike anywhere I have ever been before. The expanse of space, the every changing sky and light, the rich colours of the land and surrounding sea captivated my attention. The landscape was barren yet beautiful, rugged yet calm.
The paintings draw inspiration from the experience of landscape but are formed through the physical process of painting.
